We are looking to recruit a dedicated and hard-working Teaching Assistant to work with a delightful child in Key Stage 2 who has physical and sensory needs. Some knowledge and experience of working with special needs children would be an advantage although training will also be provided.

Hours (term time only): Monday and Friday: 08.00-12.00 and 12.30-14.30; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 08.00-11.30

Starting salary: £17,365 (pro-rata to 22.5 hours per week)

Please note that the contract would end when the child leaves the school. 

Visits to the school would be most welcome.

The Wells Free School opened in September 2013 with just years R, 1 and 2. We have expanded each year and, in September 2016, we moved into our brand-new school building. We now have 210 pupils divided into 7 classes.

With a strong focus on child-led learning and a commitment to outdoor learning experiences, the school aims to promote excellence and wellbeing, ensuring that our pupils have a real understanding of their community, both locally and globally. The school was rated good by OFSTED in June 2019.
