Do you have experience in supporting teaching and learning in Lower Key Stage 2? Are you an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who enjoys working with children in a primary school? We are seeking to appoint a Class Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant TA team to support the development and progress of our children.

The successful candidate will:

• Work in partnership with other adults to achieve the best outcomes for our children each day
• Deliver high quality personalised provision and targeted support where needed to enable children to make accelerated progress
• Be able to support all children in experiencing engaging and fun playtimes
• Be ambitious and motivated, demonstrating high expectations of yourself, as well as our children
• Have a positive outlook; be vibrant and passionate about learning, with a sense of optimism and the ability to show initiative and be flexible in order to meet children’s needs

We are looking for candidates who can support the positive and caring ethos of our school and who have the qualifications, experience and willingness to form and sustain positive relationships with children and staff, and be flexible in their approach to meet children’s needs.

This is a part time position of 28.75 hours per week, from 8.45 to 3.00 each day. Pay at KR3 is pro rata, term time only.

Candidates must have the minimum qualifications of 5 GCSEs A-C or equivalent passes including English and Maths, and/ or NVQ Level 3 or above. Candidates must have experience of supporting children in a primary school setting.
