The Role

The Brook Learning Trust is looking for an Estates Manager to lead the strategic estate and facilities management for our three Academies, and provide advice and guidance to the central executive team and academy Principals.

You will have responsibility for the safe and efficient management and operation of all Trust estates, including security, health and safety, upkeep, care, and maintenance, in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for all budgets relating to premises management across the Trust, and a key part of your role will be to drive improvement in all aspects of Estate Service. You will also manage refurbishment, expansion and other building advancements in terms of bidding, developing, procuring and implementing building projects

You will also oversee the management of the PFI contract at one of our Academies, and have line management responsibility for site managers at our two non-PFI academies.

Our central Trust team is based at The High Weald Academy, Cranbrook. The office base for this role will be agreed with the successful post holder, however there will be a requirement to regularly and frequently visit all trust sites to meet operational requirement.

Information about the school
