Interested in joining a team that focuses only on teaching and learning? That strips away unnecessary paperwork? That values, above all else, the classroom partnership between teacher and teaching assistant?  Ofsted liked what they saw and judged us resoundingly 'Good' in all areas in our recent November 2017 inspection, commenting specifically on the quality of our teaching assistants and the value they add to teaching across the school.

We require an outstanding and experienced classroom Teaching Assistant.  The right person must have experience of working with SEND children in a primary school.  We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, flexible, confident and with a sense of fun.  He or she will provide classroom support to our Year 1 teacher and 1:1 support for a delightful child who loves learning, is curious and has a great sense of humour and fun.

Our team of staff are committed to the highest standards of learning for every child.  The ability to work alongside the teacher is essential, as well as the understanding and experience to assess an individual pupil's progress and report back accurately to the teacher.

Our school is a happy place with strong Christian values.  This ethos permeates our lessons, playtimes, and relationships with one another. We are proud of our strong village connections and close ties with St John the Baptist Church. Our supportive parents raise substantial funds for the school and volunteer in classrooms and clubs. The school day is enhanced with a variety of sport, art and music clubs at lunchtime and after school.  We welcome visits!
