3.00pm – 6.00pm (15 hrs per week)

38 weeks per annum (term time only) 

We are looking to appoint a part- time Playworker to work alongside our dedicated team.  This is a temporary appointment to support a child which will be reviewed at the end of the summer term 2020. 

The ideal candidate will enjoy working and playing with the children and have experience of working in a nursery or school setting. At our Schools Out! provision the children enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor activities, behave impeccably and interact positively with adults and each other.

An additional part of this role will be to support one of our reception aged children who has been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. She is a lovely little girl who thrives on coming to After School Club and takes her treatment in her stride.

You will need to be calm in medical emergency situations and not have a phobia of needles or blood. Full training and support will be given.

We are only advertising for 2 weeks as we are ideally looking for a quick start and will call for an interview early if a strong application is made prior to the closing date.
