We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher to join our professional and dynamic teaching team from February 2020 or sooner if possible!

This position is offered initially until the end of the academic year but could potentially be extended. 

As a teacher at Bethersden Primary School, you will plan and teach well-structured lessons in line with the school’s curriculum plan, adapting your teaching style to respond to strengths and to meet the needs of our pupils.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with qualified teacher status who has previous successful experience of primary teaching. Above all, we want a teacher who will inspire and motivate our children and engage with parents to enable children to achieve the best possible learning outcomes.

Information about the school

We are a small, friendly, village primary school with 120 children taught in 6 classes. Our rural location just off the A28 between Ashford and Tenterden means we serve families from the village and the wider area. We have received a Good grading in our most recent Ofsted inspection (June 2023).

Our large site has extensive grounds, which includes a gardening area and large playing field.

We have a friendly, dedicated staff who work seamlessly together as a team, ensuring our children excel through a focus on quality first teaching and pastoral support.
