Advert

Palace Wood have a teaching role for one of our Year 5 classes. We would be looking for you to start in January, or as soon as possible.

At Palace Wood, we can promise you:

  • that you will have a voice
  • that you will be developed and supported
  • that you will be the leader of your classroom
  • that you will be able to undertake research
  • that you will be trusted
  • that you will be a learner too

Our children have developed a love of learning, and embrace challenge, and they are looking for a teacher who can provide them with this challenge. In return, they will strive to reach and go beyond your expectations.

By giving you agency, and through working together to create fantastic opportunities for our children, you will be able to create lasting memories. A parent recently said "When I see my child buzzing with enthusiasm after an exciting day at school I sometimes wish I was nine again so that I could go to Palace Wood."

As part of the interview process if shortlisted, you will be observed working with children, and so a visit to the school to gain an understanding of our ethos and practice is advised (contact office@palacewood.kent.sch.uk should you want a visit).
