Advert

We are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work for 15 hours a week. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real difference to children's development, supporting and encouraging them as they strive to achieve their goals.

He/She will work within the 7-11 age range (Key Stage 2), support learning in groups in class and at times working 1:1 with a child. Some experience of working with children with ASD/Behaviour issues would be an advantage for the successful candidate.

They must also have a good standard of English (written and spoken) and Maths to enable them to model and support appropriately, as well as excellent interpersonal skills. We are seeking a good team player who has a friendly, caring rapport with children.

Information about the school

Shepherdswell CEPS is Federated with Eythorne Elvington School.

We are a mixed gender school in the heart of a village community, with pupils aged between 4 and 11 offering a range of opportunities to parents and children. To support our families, we provide wraparound care from 7:45am to 5:45pm by providing a breakfast and after school club every weekday.

Inclusive Christian values are alive throughout our school as recognised in our SIAMS Inspection in October 2019 and a Good judgement by OFSTED in October 2021.

We continually seek to improve all that we do and work closely with local schools.
