This TA Level 2 SEN role will be assist specific children throughout the school on a 1:1 basis. With excellent training and development on offer, this is a position that will allow you to grow.

The person will have:

  • A proven track record (minimum 2 years) of supporting children particularly with ASD/ADHD and SEMH
  • The ability to devise and deliver inspiring structured learning activities and being able to evaluate their effectiveness
  • Specialist training in the area of SEMH/cognition, learning/communication and interaction or physical or sensory needs
  • Evidence of a commitment to ongoing CPD in the area of SEN;
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to successfully engage with a range of stakeholders such as parents/carers/teachers

  The Role (will include)

  • Under the direction of the SENCO and DH, Inclusion working effectively with children either 1:1 or in small groups
  • Assisting teachers and pupils in classes to support the delivery of quality learning and teaching
  • Using your strong numeracy, literacy and communication skills to help develop the pupil’s standards

This appointment will be for January 2019.  30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term-time only plus one week). Salary for this role is TDET Band 3, £11,919 per annum (based on an annual salary of £17,364).
