Alchemy School are looking to appoint a Tutor who has a commitment to raising standards and working with young people who can present with behaviour that may be classed as challenging.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an inspiring and developing team, to teach within small classes with the support of Teaching Assistant.

Applicants should be:

  • Highly motived, with a passion and commitment to raising standards for all young people in more than one subject area.
  • To be able to teach subjects upto GCSE Level.
  • Enjoy challenging, supporting and motivating young people.
  • Be highly motived, with a passion, integrity and enthusiasm to assist students to succeed within education.

Information about the school

Alchemy School is a small specialist secondary independent school, Ofsted rated Good in July 2019. The school caters for secondary students who cannot access mainstream education for whatever reason.

The school offers the core curriculum upto GCSE level with a sixth form. We are looking for committed individuals who have the emotional resilience and expertise to teach and support our young people through their educational careers to enable them to achieve their optimum.
