Immediate start, maternity cover contract until 31 August 2020, which may be extended depending on the need.

 We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join a large and a dynamic team at Grove Park Primary School. The hours of duty are from 8.40-3.25, Monday to Friday, term time only - a total of 28.75 hours per week.

 This role will involve you to work with the whole class, groups of pupils or support children on 1:1 basis and deliver intervention programs.

You will be:

  • Someone who has experience of working with children (ideally in a school setting) and have an understanding of children’s development;
  • Have maths and English GCSEs A*-C;
  • Able to work proactively and be flexible with change;
  • A team player who is also committed to the wider life of the school;
  • A clear communicator with adults and children;
  • A positive role model to all.
