Information about the school

Being located on the High Street and close to the seafront means we can take pride in being right in the heart of Whitstable, able to access the excellent facilities to enrich our children’s learning and play an important role in our local community.

We aim to be a truly inclusive school and our intake reflects the diverse range of socio economic backgrounds and wide range of academic starting points. We strive for high standards to enable all children to attain their potential and our recent outcomes, especially for disadvantaged children have been impressive.

We do work hard at maintaining high standards in key areas of the curriculum but we also place a very high value on other aspects of schooling including the wide range of opportunities through our focus on the arts, respect for other cultures and faiths, sport and visits to the many places of interest locally.

We have a very strong emphasis on mental health and well-being for all members of our school community, and are especially proud of our Well-Being Team and having gained the Carnegie Mental Health Award.

We have a great team with everyone working towards our vision to be a school that is considered excellent by all the people and groups that have a part to play in helping us achieve our success.
