FAMILY LIAISON OFFICER REQUIRED FOR DECEMBER 2019

Monday – Thursday, 8.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m., 3.30 p.m. finish on Friday

As a Family Liaison Officer you will:

Be responsible for engaging parents and improving communication between home and school, in direct liaison with teaching staff
Assess, implement and monitor action plans to support individual pupil needs
Promote links with external agencies and undertake referrals as appropriate
Attend meetings as appropriate as the school’s representation
Be part of the School’s Safeguarding Team

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience of working with children and families
Knowledge and skills equivalent to national qualifications level 3
Ability to communicate effectively at different levels
Good organisation and accurate record keeping abilities
Have a knowledge of child safeguarding, confidentiality and behaviour strategies and the ability to communicate these effectively
