Full-Time Teaching Assistant (35 hours – term time only) (based in our Pre-School)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, organised and talented Teaching Assistant to work in a very successful and high achieving school. Relevant qualifications and previous experience in a Pre-School or Primary School setting are essential.

If you are passionate about teaching and learning, and would like to join a friendly team who are dedicated to providing a stimulating environment in which children can learn, then this could be a position for you. We are looking for someone who has at least a Level 2 qualification in early years and childcare.

We are looking for someone who will:-

  • Be creative, dedicated, enthusiastic and inspirational
  • Have high expectations of both academic achievement and behaviour
  • Work with and support children under the direction and guidance of the EYFS teacher
  • Organise and lead group activities within the classroom
  • Undertake observations and assessments
  • Be a team player within a happy, hard-working staff
  • Be willing to take on some extra-curricular responsibilities a few times a week (Breakfast Club from 7.30am and After School Club until 5.30pm) (these are paid in addition)
