Duties

  • Supervision of children in the dinig hall ensuring good table manners are observed.
  • Assist children with eating and using cutlery.
  • Assisting children in clearing away their plates at the end of the meal.
  • Supervision of children moving from the dining areas to the playground areas.
  • Ensure play is undertaken sensibly and safely at all times.
  • Engage, interact and support play activities with the children.
  • To deal with minor accidents during lunchtime and report back any serious incidents to the class teacher at the end of lunch.
  • In wet weather,  supervise behaviour of children and provide appropriate wet play activities for the children in your care.
  • Any other duties in keeping with the nature and the level of the job that the Headteacher deems suitable.
  • Undertake appropriate training as required.
  • Report any Safeguarding incidents to our school Designated Safeguard leaders.
