We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant who understands both the challenges and joys faced when working with children with SEND.

The role will include 1-2-1 assistance with a year 7 student with Downs syndrome. You will be expected to work closely with the class teacher and promote the students learning and individual needs within the classroom setting.

It will also be vital that you feel competent in working with small group learning interventions and small group work in Numeracy, Literacy and Reading. It will also involve attending any pre planned school trips.

Being part of a team is of paramount importance and the willingness to help students being at the forefront of your day.

This is a term time only post working Monday to Friday 8:30 - 15:05.
