Teaching Assistant (and Midday Supervisor) required from September 2019.

We are looking for an experienced and capable Teaching Assistant, who can work in our Reception class.  They are required to have experience of engaging children of this age, and moving them on in their thinking and learning, plus the ability to work one to one with a child with behavioural concerns.   The applicant should have English and Maths GCSEs or equivalent, as a minimum, and have good verbal and written skills. They should be willing to assist, and be prepared to learn how to support children with various physical needs including intimate care needs.  

The person will be required to work Monday to Friday 8.45 am to 3.20pm term time only, in this role.

They will also be required to work lunchtimes as a mid-day supervisor which will be paid at Kent Range 2.

We can offer a supportive team of staff, and further training as necessary.  The school is committed to developing its staff.
