East Farleigh has an exciting opportunity for a skilled, highly motivated and enthusiastic learning support assistant to work part-time to support a child with particular needs in one of our infant classes. 

This will initially be a fixed term contract until August 2020.

With the support of the SENCO and class teacher, your role will be to assist in promoting the learning and personal development of the pupil to whom you are assigned, to enable them to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them. Recent experience working as a 1:1 support assistant or teaching assistant, in particular the planning and delivery of individual intervention programmes, is desirable. An ability to build relationships, have a positive outlook and a willingness to try different approaches is essential.

Hours of work will be 8:30am to 1:00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. The position is paid at KR3. Duties to include 1:1 support and small group intervention as well as lunchtime supervision of named child.
