Information about the school

"Widening Horizons, Raising Aspirations"

Briary Primary School is a two form entry primary school in Herne Bay. During our last Ofsted inspection we were judged as good in all areas and it was recognised that ‘the quality of teaching and learning is good throughout the school’ (Ofsted Jan 2018). The school is a popular choice for local parents. The curriculum is extended well by many very popular and well attended clubs. Pastoral care and support are significant strengths of what is very much a family school. There is a Pre-school and Children’s Centre on site and the school has excellent links with both.

Briary School is part of the EKC Schools Trust and shares their values, managing to combine these with innovative and reflective practice which keeps abreast of current changes in education.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children. All applicants will be asked to provide two referees and be subject to safeguarding checks, including full DBS check.

We encourage you to visit the school prior to your application and would be happy to show you around and answer further questions.
