Pembury School is looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and caring individual who will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the school as an Administration Officer.  Who will also be responsible for various school administration tasks but in particular dealing with admissions.

The successful applicant will need to be flexible, friendly, and efficient and able to work calmly and accurately under pressure.  Duties will includes a variety of administrative, secretarial and clerical tasks, welfare of pupils, liaising with parents, reception duties and the general day to day duties organising an admin team.

The position is for 20 hours per week spread over 3 days (Wed - Fri) term time only with inset days on a pro rata basis.

Previous experience of working in a school environment is preferable and knowledge of SIMS essential.  A high level of literacy, numeracy and computer skills are essential.  A knowledge of updating websites and other school IT systems (Schoolcomms, KLZ etc.) would be an advantage.
