We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team for 15 hours per week, term time only. The post is to cover maternity leave.

Principal accountability:

  • Undertake a diverse range of clerical duties to assist the Office Manager in the smooth running of the office
  • Type letters, photocopying and filing as requested
  • Liaise and work with the Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion Manager) on a number of administration duties, minute taking, typing minutes, filing and dealing with SEN matters
  • Act as receptionist, answering the door entry system, answering the telephone and transferring calls as appropriate and helping visitors
  • Maintain stocks of school uniform to ensure that there are sufficient items available for parents to purchase and liaise with uniform suppliers, placing orders direct with the supplier
  • Assist with the maintenance and operation of SIMS (Management Information System)
  • Deal with any emergency issues in the absence of office colleagues to ensure the efficient running of the school office is maintained

Built in 1882, Davington is a 14 class school set in six acres of beautiful surroundings. Our buildings range from the original school through to a modern new block opened in 2023.

We have two fields, a swimming pool and a fantastic Woodland with a classroom, orchard, pond, story telling area and much more. All classes have access to a fully interactive Discovery Suite and Music Room alongside other workspaces beyond the classroom. All learning spaces are well resourced.
