We are seeking to appoint a Special Education Needs (SEN) Administration Officer to work within our SEN Team.

The successful candidate will be required to provide administration support within the SEN department, working alongside the SENCO, assisting them with the day-to-day management of the SEN area which is called the Learning Base. The post holder will work with the SEN team, creating a safe, effective and simulating environment for the students.  It is essential that the successful candidate has excellent communication skills and enjoys working as part of a busy team, working with both staff and students.

Pay - Kent Range 6 - £20,222 to £22,072 (Pro rata £17,119 - £18,685)

Working 37 hours per week / term time, (which is currently 38 weeks) plus 5 additional days during school holidays. The post holder will also be required to work during parents' evenings.

Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School is a highly respected selective Voluntary Controlled Girls’ Grammar School that places students’ academic success on a par with their wellbeing, creating a unique learning community where every individual matters. Students attending the school are aged between 11-18 years and the school has a student roll of about 1,300 students (with approx. 400 pupils in our mixed Sixth Form).
