32.5 hours per week: 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Term Time only

We are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching staff through planning, preparing and delivering lessons to facilitate non contact time for teachers and short term sickness cover.

We are looking for –

  • a versatile practitioner who meets the HLTA standards and who can provide high quality learning experiences for all year groups throughout the primary phase;
  • competent skills in maths, IT, written and spoken English;
  • an effective team member willing to contribute to the group but also able to work independently and on their own initiative;
  • excellent communication skills in order to build rapport with adults and children both verbally and in writing;
  • flexibility with effective time management skills;
  • energy and a sense of humour!
