We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Temporary Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team for 25 hours per week, term time only to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis.

The successful candidates will be literate and numerate to GCSE or equivalent.

Ideally, in applying for the post you will have:

  • Previous experience of working as a teaching assistant
  • High standards of work-ethic, self-motivation and an ability to work with high levels of independence.
  • High standards of personal presentation, punctuality, professional standards and team work.
  • The ability to form positive relationships with children and adults.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

This post is linked to the pupil and will cease if, for any reason, the pupil leaves the school.

Borden Church of England School is a small school situated in the village of Borden, just outside Sittingbourne in Kent and we are proud to be part of Our Community Multi Academy Trust - OCMAT. We have approximately 120 pupils in 5 mixed age classes.

The children are encouraged to work hard to achieve their potential and are inspired to take pride in their achievements.
