1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Starting as soon as possible
We are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant who can support a Year 3 pupil to help them excel in all areas of school life. The post is for 16.5 hours per week, working every morning of the week during term time from 9am to 12.15pm during Literacy and Maths. This contract is temporary and supported by High Needs funding which is reviewed annually.
As with other roles in the school, this post involves regular contact with children and staff and therefore the successful candidate needs to be able to relate well to children and adults alike. A sense of humour is a MUST, as well as a ‘common-sense’ approach to the job and the ability to show initiative and adapt to any situation that may arise. Starting salary will be on Kent Range (KR3). £6,310.08 (pro rata to FTE of £17,365)
