Working Hours: 12.5hrs per week all year round. Worked 12.5hrs per week term time plus an additional 95 hours worked over the course of the school holidays

Elms School is a day special school for pupils aged 5 to 16 years.. Elms School has been recognised as Good, following an Ofsted Inspection in 2017.

The school Governors would like to appoint two Cleaners to join the school’s experienced team of cleaning staff who are responsible for keeping our school clean & tidy.

The successful candidate will be able to work well in a team, be flexible, and have an organised approach to their work. An ability to communicate with staff and pupils in a polite, patient and courteous manner is essential.

Information about the school

Elms School is a special day school for children with social, emotional and learning difficulties. Many of our pupils have ASD, ADHD or other difficulties such as attachment difficulties. The school has a mixed roll of 145 students between the ages of 5 and 16.

The school has been assessed as Good. The most recent inspection report was published in November 2017. At Elms we combine academic success with a therapeutic, nurturing approach in order to best support the learning and emotional needs of our pupils.
