A vacancy has arisen at Riverhead Infants' School for a Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team in EYFS. The person we appoint will have a love of working with children and the ability to inspire learning and support learning and development. They will have high expectations of themselves and of children they work with to enable outstanding achievement and behaviour. We will be looking for self-initiative, adaptability and a commitment to working as a member of a team.

This is a diverse role and includes supporting teaching and learning as a class teaching assistant and working with individual pupils. An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Early Years qualification is essential.

The position is for full-time 5 days a week, term-time only. 

The post attracts a salary on Kent Range 3 (£17,365-£17,411) pro rata. Please contact the school for further information and visit our website.

Information about the school

Riverhead is a three form intake infant school on the outskirts of the town of Sevenoaks. Our eco-friendly sedum-roofed building is set in beautiful grounds enabling our pupils to enjoy their learning both indoors and out. We achieved an outstanding Ofsted report in January 2009 and have received numerous awards for our excellent practices. Our school is over-subscribed and well supported by parents and the local community.
