TEACHING SCHOOL AND DATA ADMINISTRATOR

Fixed term contract for 1 year ending on 31 August 2020

We are looking to appoint a capable and pro-active Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Teaching School Alliance and to the Data Manager/Timetabler.

To work effectively in this key role, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills and be a competent user of MS Office software.  Applicants will be intelligent, versatile and resourceful, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team and thrive in a busy, sometimes unpredictable, school environment. 

In March 2013 Highworth Grammar School was designated as a National Teaching School in recognition of its outstanding performance and its track record of raising standards through supporting other schools.  The Ashford Teaching Alliance (ATA) comprises schools of every type and phase and is proud to have a reputation for excellence regionally and nationally.

This post is for 22.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus staff development days), offered on Kent Range 5 £18,704 per annum pro rata (actual £9,629)

Information about the school

Highworth Grammar School is an over-subscribed 11 – 18, selective girls’ school of 1493 students with 455 students in the Sixth Form (114 boys). We are situated in the South East of England, with excellent transport links to both the rest of Kent and London.

The school was judged to be Outstanding in all areas in June 2013. Last summer our A Level results placed us in the top 25% of schools nationally.
