The Governors of Bredhurst Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a Clerk to the Governing Body from October 2019.  The role will include preparation and distribution of agenda/minutes, attendance at 4 Governing Body meetings, 8 committee meetings and maintenance of membership, attendance and training records. The meeting times are variable, both during the day and evening.  The Clerk is also responsible for advising the governing body on procedural, constitutional and governance matters. Administrative hours are flexible and home based. There is the expectation to attend regular training which will be paid for.  The post is for 132 hours, including training, worked principally in term time, salary £10.48 to £13.02 per hour with the starting salary dependent on experience.  Full training can be provided.
