Band 3 £17,497, (£11,009.11 pro rata),  per annum

27.5 hours per week (to be worked between 8.00 - 14.00 , (Monday-Friday).  Term time plus 5 staff development days.

The Whitstable School is looking to appoint a suitable person to work in our administration team.

We are seeking a self-motivated  person with a ‘can do’ attitude. The successful candidate will manage a range of varied tasks and provide a range of administrative duties to support the smooth running of the school, including providing cover for main reception. We are therefore looking for someone who:

  • Has strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills and an excellent telephone manner.
  • Is able to demonstrate good organisation and administration skills.
  • Is able to communicate effectively and accurately with staff at all levels, pupils, parents/carers, suppliers and visitors.
  • Has the ability to take accurate notes of meetings.
  • Is reliable.
  • Is a good timekeeper.

The successful applicant will report directly to the Office Manager and will work under the direction of the Senior Management.
