Information about the school:

Langafel is a friendly, happy and inclusive primary school. Our motto, Friendship and Learning, depicts the overall ethos of our school. We are an average sized primary school with 325 pupils on roll. We currently have two Reception Classes who work in a large inside and outside area with a flexible open plan space. Pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 are taught in mixed-age classes allowing the perfect opportunity for collaborative learning and teaching.

The school's resourced provision, known in the school community as SLIC@Langafel (Socialise Learn Interact Communicate) is for pupils with an EHCP who are diagnosed as having Autistic Spectrum Disorder. There are currently 24 children in the provision who are taught in three classes, the majority of pupils also attend mainstream lessons. The pupils from the SRP make use of the wonderful facilities within the school. Additionally within the provision the pupils benefit from three large well-resourced classrooms, speech and language rooms and a sensory room. They also have access to their own contained outside spaces, including a playground with sensory apparatus and a well-equipped enclosed area on the school field.
