Salary:             Kent pay scales KR7 £24,075 (£13,886 actual)

Hours              7.15am – 9.00am & 2.45pm – 6.30pm (Monday – Friday), Permanent, Term Time Only

The Connect Schools Academy Trust (CSAT), are opening a brand new school, River Mill Primary School in Dartford in September 2019, and are looking for exceptional staff who can share our vision to join our team in this exciting new venture.

We will be opening in September with one reception class and one year one class, and we will also be running a Breakfast and After school Club for our children.   We are looking to appoint a Breakfast and After School club manager to set up the initial processes and procedures, and ensure that all children in attendance enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor activities in a safe and nurturing environment.

You will require:

  • NVQ Level 3 or appropriate experience
  • Sound knowledge of safeguard procedures
  • Designated Safeguarding Lead certificate or willingness to undertake
  • 12 hour paediatric first aid certificate or willingness to undertake
  • Good understanding of health and safety and undertake risk assessments
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate of willingness to undertake
  • Understanding of the Early Years profile and record appropriately
  • Experience of managing staff
  • Ability to plan activities as appropriate
  • Good behaviour management
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues, children and parent/carers
  • Forward thinking
  • Good sense of humour
