St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School is looking to appoint two part-time Teaching Assistants who are highly skilled and enthusiastic to provide general support across all Years (Reception - Year 6).

 

One post is for two days a week (Monday and Tuesday) to include lunchtime cover (12 hours a week) term time only;

and the second post is for four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) to include lunchtime cover (24 hours a week) term time only.

 

Experience of working with children who require a highly differentiated curriculum, support with memory and auditory processing, gross and fine motor skills programmes, social skills and emotional guidance is beneficial but not essential.

 

You must have a good standard of English and Maths and be able to communicate effectively with adults and children. You will be expected to use your initiative and to contribute your ideas. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children; works well as part of a team and has a good sense of humour!

 

Applicants do not need to be practicing Catholics but will need to support the Catholic aims and ethos of the school.

The curriculum is creative and well resourced. The school is close to the town centre and set in pleasant grounds.
