Senior Science Laboratory Technician (Term Time only + 12 days) Job Share or Part Time Considered
KR6 - £20,222-£22,072 (pro rata to £17,617-£19,229)
An experienced and suitably qualified Science Laboratory Technician is sought for this busy role with particular responsibility for Chemistry and/or Physics. An ability to support Biology would also be an advantage. Candidates must be able to work on their own initiative and will be key to ensuring safe working environments for both students and staff.
This is a term time only post, working 37 hours per week. You will be required to work five Staff Development Days each year, one of which will be the first day of each new academic year with the remaining days to be agreed plus 7 additional days to be mutually agreed. You should be willing to travel to another school in the Trust and should hold a driving licence.
Hours of work are:
08.00-16.00 Monday-Thursday and 08.00-15.30 Friday including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
