School Receptionist

Monday-Friday 8.15am-4.45pm Term-Time (39 weeks) plus
3 days per week during the school holidays (10.00am-3.00pm) 

Salary-dependent on experience

Starting 2nd September 2019

We require a skilled Receptionist to provide a warm and professional welcome to all visitors, staff and students at West Heath School. The role will see you divide your time between reception duties, providing administrative support, monitoring student attendance, overseeing student transport and the coordination of the missing student protocol. The role is diverse and demanding but very rewarding. You must be a strong communicator, have the ability to remain calm in challenging situations and be flexible to the changing environment.

 

Key Requirements

  • Full driving licence and use of own vehicle
  • Experience of working in schools, preferably SEN
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Microsoft Office – (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) min. of intermediate level
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and environment
  • Proactive and innovative
  • Flexible and adaptable
