Student Welfare Lead & Student Support

Required to start September 2019 

Start Salary Grade 4, Points 12 -14, £14,012.65 - £14,903.95 (£17,498 - £18,611 full time equivalent)

Term time: 35 hours per week for 39 weeks per annum

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to work within the Inclusion Team with excellent organisational skills, who has the ability to multi-task & priorities extremely busy work loads.   You must be able to take ownership of key areas of student support and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy & attention to detail.

Salient duties and the skills required include; communicating with staff, parents, students and external services, organising workload to predefined deadlines, assisting other team members in the completion of tasks, being proactive & approachable in the completion of team targets. Previous knowledge of admissions, behaviour first aid, school nurse, risk assessments and general school systems would be advantageous but not essential.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory safeguarding and vetting checks including references and a DBS (Fully Enhanced CRB).
