An apprenticeship opportunity has arisen in our nursery from September 2019.  Term time only - 38 weeks per year plus 1 week (staff development days) 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a caring, hard working, enthusiastic, motivated person that has the initiative to work with children and the ability to take direction, support and training from staff.

Full support will be given to the successful applicant who is happy to learn and take guidance while enjoying the job in a nursery environment.  Our aim is for the candidate to complete a minimum of a level two qualification and then be given the opportunity to take on a fulltime post with us.  Pay during your apprenticeship will be on the Apprentice Scale and is in line with National Minimum Wage requirements.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a real passion and drive for caring and educating young children.
  • Is enthusiastic, bubbly and friendly!
  • Will commit to a full time apprenticeship programme
  • Is punctual and well presented, setting a good example to our children
  • GCSE A-C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics would be an advantage
