ICT Technician 

Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.00pm (Term-Time only, 39 weeks)

Salary scale- £18,000 - £22,000 depending on experience

To start as soon as possible 

We require a pro-active and well organised ICT Technician to support the ICT Department with the smooth running of the school’s ICT systems.

The role will see you maintaining the efficient working of the school’s ICT equipment in both the academic and administrative departments through a pro-active ICT Maintenance regime. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, thriving department in an Independent SEMH school.  

Key Requirements

 

  • Full driving licence and use of own vehicle
  • Experience of supporting desktop PC’s, laptops and other network peripherals
  • Experience of enterprise level networking
  • Working knowledge of Windows 7 & 10 based desktop and server operating systems
  • Excellent problem solving resolution abilities on a wide range of software, hardware and network issues
  • Experience of supporting IOS based devices
  • Maintaining network security and maintenance updates across all systems
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to advise, communicate effectively and assist a range of non-technical users
