Teacher of Drama 0.6FTE
Fixed term 1 year September 2019
We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Drama Teacher. You will have the ability to teach Drama and Theatre Studies to GCSE and ‘A’ level and also be able to deliver engaging lessons to key stage 3. You will have passion and imagination to teach all lessons to a high standard at all levels. You will have consistently high expectations and motivation to support all students to achieve their full potential and academic achievement. Encouraging students to become creative,
You will be required to have a creative approach and commitment to lead extra-curricular groups and intervention classes. We have an extensive programme of additional enrichment opportunities to see live performances, deliver community projects and collaborative performances.

Homewood School & Sixth Form Centre is a mixed 11 – 18 wide ability school with Academy status with 2100 students including 350 in the Sixth Form. We are part of Tenterden Schools’ Trust working in collaboration with local primary schools serving the Wealden town of Tenterden and the surrounding villages. The school is situated on the edge of Tenterden and enjoys a large semi-rural site overlooking open countryside.
