Jubilee Primary School is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Play Worker to join our extended services team.  Our extended services are very popular with our parents and are often oversubscribed.  We are seeking candidates who have proven experience and the necessary skills to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children attending the extended services.

Our extended services team cover duties including breakfast club, playground cover and after school club:

Breakfast Club:     07.30 – 08.45

Playground Cover: 11.30 – 13.30

After School Club: 14.30 – 18.00

We are looking for a Play Worker who can cover the hours of 11.30 until 18.00 to provide cover during lunchtimes and at our After School Club.  Breakfast club provision can be added to the role but this is optional.

We are seeking like-minded individuals, who can uphold our ethos whilst bringing their own individual flair to our growing team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Embrace, promote and protect our school ethos.
  • Be a passionate play practitioner who enjoys using creative and innovative approaches to play activities.
  • Have relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ3 in Learning Support/ Level 3 Teaching Assistant, NNEB, Paediatric First Aid, Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene) or relevant experience.
  • Be imaginative, fun, creative and very energetic.
  • Understands that relationships are key to a successful school.
  • Is able to work closely with colleagues and can communicate effectively with parents, carers and other professionals.
  • Has a desire to work in an exciting environment, supporting the long term vision of the Leadership Team.
