We wish to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher to join the Ifield School Sixth Form provision based at North Kent College, Gravesend. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the innovative development of our Post 16 provision.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional, qualified teacher with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with young people with SEND.  Candidates must be able to use their own initiative and be committed to working as part of an established and highly motivated team to provide stimulating and interesting learning opportunities for students with a range of profound, severe and complex learning needs.

Applications are welcome from teachers who may already be working in a Special School and from those currently working in a mainstream school or Further Education setting who are looking to make the move into Special Education.  A background in SEND and in particular PMLD, SLD or ASD is desirable but not essential.

The post offers exciting professional development opportunities for candidates seeking to develop their career within a supportive and experienced team.
