Are you passionate and enthusiastic about teaching Lower Key Stage 2?

If so, we want you!

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Sundridge and Brasted CEP School for a teacher for our year 3 and 4 class. Our curriculum is broad and balanced. It is enriched with trips, visits, productions, extra-curricular activities and wrap around care. We offer opportunities for children to excel in a variety of ways.

With high expectations of all learners, you will have a thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2. Our children are looking for a teacher who is friendly, caring and enthusiastic about their learning. Someone who can challenge and support them as they explore the curriculum in a creative way.

We can offer you pupils who are keen and ready to learn, a vibrant community in the heart of Sundridge and a school where staff voice is highly valued. The school was rated outstanding by Ofsted in June 2015 in all areas. The school was also graded as outstanding in our recent SIAMS inspection in October 2016.

At Sundridge and Brasted we believe in nurturing each individual pupil in order for them to reach their full potential. If you share this ethos then this is the school for you!

The position is for a starting date of September 2019.

We warmly welcome visits to the school in order for you to gain a true insight in to life at Sundridge and Brasted. Arrangements for visits can be made through the school office (01959) 562694. We look forward to meeting you!

Information about the school

We are a small Church of England School situated in the village of Sundridge, with approximately 75 children on roll, set in a beautiful part of Kent. We have a strong family ethos and value our close links with our parents, the wider community and local churches.

The school site is small but we have wonderful support from the community which allows us to go off site for PE lessons and Forest School throughout the year to fantastic site within close proximity to the school. We provide a wide range of pastoral support for our children and families in order to ensure that every child has the opportunity to fully experience school both inside and outside the classroom.

Sundridge & Brasted CE Primary School is part of the Darent Federation of Primary Schools. We work closely with other local schools and the Local Authority to ensure that we have the best practices in place to benefit our children and staff. We are also supported by a strong governing body.
