We are looking a Nursery Nurse, starting in September 2019 to work in our Non Maintained Nursery. This is a full time post initially for 37.5 hours per week during term time only. (39 weeks per year) 

Initially this would be a temporary position until July 2020, but there is a strong possibility the contract will be extended extend beyond this date.

Castle Hill Village Nursery is situated in The Village Children's Centre which is a purpose built facility on the main school site. The Nursery is a registered company operated by the school and was judged to be OUTSTANDING during its last Ofsted inspection.

A successful candidate would join a team of highly motivated and excellent practitioners and would be required to work with children from 3 months to 4 years. Experience is essential and qualification is preferred. However we are willing to consider candidates looking to start a career in childcare, this may be particularly suitable for parents wishing to return to the workplace or considering a change of career.

Opportunities for further training and development are encouraged. The Nursery will offer you support and advice if you wish to continue training to enhance you qualifications.

Castle Hill is a lively two form entry Community Primary School with a Specialist Resource Provision for Hearing Impaired children. We also have responsibility for running a large and thriving Nursery which shares its premises with the Children Centre on our grounds. The school is situated in an urban area of East Folkestone, on a deceptively large site.

Our children are friendly and lively and deserve the very best we can give them. We are extremely proud of the school and would be delighted to show you around.
