Do you get a buzz out of seeing a child's small steps of progress?

Do you like working to support individual children?

Do you enjoy working as part of an enthusiastic team?

The majority of time would be spent working 1-1 with an individual child with SEN, but may also include additional support with other children in the class.

The successful candidate must have a good standard of English (written and spoken) and Maths to enable them to model and support appropriately, as well as excellent interpersonal skills. We are seeking a good team player who has a friendly, caring rapport with children. Some experience of working with children with ASD/Behaviour issues would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • an understanding of the need to adapt and plan activities based on a child's level of development and interests
  • a readiness to learn new skills - we will provide training opportunities
  • flexibility in approaching tasks
  • positivity and a "can-do" attitude to supporting a child

Come and meet us - we'd be delighted to show you around so that you can meet us all.

Our School and all of its staff are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
