Would you like to join our aspirational, joyful school community, where senior leaders and staff share a passion and determination to unlock the potential in every pupil?

At Meadowfield we work hard to ensure that all of our pupils make excellent progress, and we continually seek to improve the wellbeing of both pupils and staff. Now is an exciting time to join our outstanding school as we expand in order to better meet the demand for special school places in Swale. We are incredibly proud our very recent Ofsted inspection (see the report on our profile page). Ofsted recognise that relationships between our staff and pupils are exceptionally positive, and we are delighted that our pupils told inspectors they are very happy at the school and really enjoy their lessons.

We encourage all of our employees to further their career development and we respect initiative and ambition. We are committed to performance management, staff training, coaching, mentoring and peer support.

We need Teaching Assistants to work as part of a team of adults in each class. Some experience of working with pupils with special educational needs would be an advantage, though not essential, as training will be given. The successful candidate could be required to work anywhere across the school; at present the vacancies are placed in Secondary and Early Years classes.

From all staff we expect commitment to the school and a desire to improve and excel. Further information about the responsibilities of the role, and the criteria we will use to select candidates, can be found in the attached job description and person specification.

The working hours are 9:00 - 15:30 Monday to Friday, working five days a week (30 hours), term time only (39 weeks). Working Hours in our Observation and Assessment Nursery are 9:00 to 16:00 (32.5 hours).
