We will be opening in September with one reception and Year 1 class, and we will also be running a breakfast & after school club for our children.  We are looking to appoint a breakfast & after school club assistant to work alongside the manager assisting with the set up the the initial processes and procedured, and ensure that all children enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor activities in a safe and nurturing environment.

You would be require to work 7.15 - 8.30am & 2.45-6.30pm, Monday to Friday and will require:

  • NVQ level 2 or appropriate experience
  • Sound knowledge of safeguard procedures
  • Level 2 foor hygience certificate or winningness to undertake
  • peadiatric fist aid certificate or willingness to undertake
  • good behaviour management
  • excellent communication skills with colleagues, children and parent/carers
  • work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • ability to plan and undertake activities 
  • Good sense of humour

River Mill is a new free school that has opened in the centre of Dartford. We are part of Connect Schools Academy Trust, which is a MAT with six like-minded schools in Dartford, Tonbridge and Bromley. We will be Combining with Compass Academy Trust from September 2024.
