Governors wish to appoint a highly motivated, nurturing Learning Support Assistant to join our school. Intially the position would be working in EYFS.
 
Desirable qualifications, experience and qualities required by the successful applicant:
  • Learning Support Assistant Level 3 qualification or higher education qualifications
  • Good Literacy and Numeracy skills (qualifications in Mathematics and English, grade C or above or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and/or experience of working in EYFS or in a nursery
  • Ability to work successfully with pupils with a range of needs
  • Adaptable and confident to support pupils individually or in small groups
  • Capable and confident in delivering school interventions
  • Enjoys working with children and is able to establish excellent relationships
  • Excellent team member
  • Hardworking and is able to work on their own initiative
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidential
  • Committed to the school, has positive views and is willing to contribute to school events.

The successful applicant will receive support from the Headteacher and Inclusion Manager.
The post is for up to 30 hours per week - term time only - working across the week Mondays to Fridays. KCC support application forms only.
