Teaching Assistant/SEN Support Assistant

Orchards Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to take up the position of Teaching Assistant/SEN Support Assistant. The successful candidate will be required to work across the whole ability range at KS3 and KS4, supporting SEN students where required, within this busy team.

As part of The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT), Orchards Academy has a strong commitment to professional development of staff.

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post, in accordance with the Immigration Act 2016

Salary: Kent Range 3 (£17,365 FTE). Pro rata salary for Term time only role approx £10,890.00pa.

Hours: 8.40am to 3pm Monday to Friday, term time only plus inset days (27.5 hours per week)

Start Date: September 2019
