Advert

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic KS2 teacher to join our friendly and successful federation in a Year 4 class.

We would like a creative teacher who will inspire our young people to discover the awe and wonder of learning.  You must be a team player and committed to raising pupil achievement within a caring, nurturing environment.  Knowledge of ICT or PSHE would be welcomed.  We are also happy to invite NQT's to apply.

Brookfield Junior School is part of The Flourish Federation and we work closely and collaboratively with our Infant school on the same site.  The Junior school was rated as good by Ofsted in November 2017 and the Infant school, outstanding in March 2016.

The Flourish Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  Any offer of appointment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Please come and visit us if you think you are the person to join our wonderful team.  We really look forward to meeting you!

Information about the school

We are a small federation, consisting of our Infant and Junior schools (both 2-form entry). We created our federation 6 years ago in order to ensure consistently strong practice across the primary phase. Since its creation, the federation has gone from strength to strength, harboring a strong community feel, with outstanding relationships with our parents, and children who feel happy, safe and demonstrate a real willingness to learn.

While still 2 separate schools with our own identities, we have a shared governing body and the leadership team works very closely together, sharing its vision and learning behaviours of Creativity, Exploration, Learning and Kindness in order to give our pupils every chance of success as they move onto their next stages in development.

Children genuinely do come at the heart of all of our decision making and we are passionate about sharing our strong practice with the community – this is evident to all who visit us.

What our parents say about us:

“The whole family is part of the school and not just the pupils. It’s a warm, welcoming environment for all. Happy to have my child in this school.”

“Brookfield Juniors is fun and the children are happy and thrive 😊 We will always recommend this school to everyone”

“Amazing school. Has given all the opportunities to be the best version of herself”

“Staff are approachable and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble.”

“We’re so sad will be leaving this year. This school has brought the best out in my daughter, I am so proud to say she goes here. Absolutely wonderful!”
