To future consolidate the rapid progress at Richmond, The Stour Academy Trust are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and resilient Year 6 Teacher to join our passionate team at Richmond Academy, starting in September 2019.

The successful applicant would also have the role of Phase Leader for Y4, Y5 and Y6. There is scope for future progession into a full-time non teaching role for the right candidate.

We are encouraging applications from teachers with experience of teaching in upper KS2 and who have experience in preparing children for SAT’s and their transition into secondary school. She has won the confidence of staff, pupils and many parents with her clarity of vision and openness.”

Our support given to our teachers was also emphasised by Ofsted:

“The school and trust provide time and opportunities for teachers to update their skills. For example, teachers moderate their assessment of pupils’ work with colleagues from other trust schools and benefit from training sessions led by experts from a local university.”

“Leaders at all levels are passionate about the school, knowledgeable about their roles and relentless in driving through the agreed priorities. They provide effective support to teachers in classrooms, and help pupils to do better in their learning.”
